鶹 ready to meet the students at Doncaster Careers Fair

Doncaster’s only standalone sixth form for 16-19 year olds will open its doors in a state of the art facility built on the Hayfield School site in Auckley in September 2017.

In a bid to make students aware of the latest information regarding the development, a team from 鶹 Doncaster will be at this year’s Doncaster Careers fair at the Dome on February 17th.

Leon Riley, Principal Designate of 鶹 Doncaster, said: “We are really looking forward to meeting with students and their parents at the Careers Fair at the Dome.

“鶹 Doncaster will provide outstanding educational opportunities for young people from across the borough and will create a dynamic centre for post-16 learning, supporting achievement, aspiration and progression.”

The proposal for 鶹 Doncaster received Government approval in 2015 and work is well underway with plans to lay the first brick in the summer of 2016 on the playing fields adjacent to Hayfield Lane.

“We have an excellent track record of delivering Ofsted Outstanding education at 鶹 Pontefract and we will be replicating this proven model at 鶹 Doncaster.”

“Parents and students will have state-of-the-art facilities that they can be proud of along with superb equipment and resources including a purpose-built theatre, dance studio and modern science labs,” added Leon.

Parents of year 10 students who will be starting to make decisions about their sixth form education are encouraged to attend the event and speak to the 鶹 Doncaster team about the 32 A-levels and vocational courses which will be on offer.
